Taking in Knowledge! Series P5

The word prayer from Greek word deh'-ay-sis and Hewbrew word tef-il-law' both translate with simular meaning of petition, request and supplication.  So who are we talking to when we pray, well that is the hear of prayers, Psalm 65:2.  You may be woundering how prayer is important in the taking in knowledge series, in Micheals model prayer in Matthew 6:9-13 not only shows us how to prayer, also gives us a light on the good news!

Prayer can be used for many thing like expressions of praise and thanksgiving (Psalm 34:1, Psalm 92:1), vows (1 Samuel 1:11, Ecclesiastes 5:2-6), confessions (2 Chronicles 30:22), and petitions or requests (Hebrews 5:7).

The model prayer (Matthew 6:9-13) of Micheal is a prayer that brings more light to the good news, Micheal model prayer asks for Jehovah's Kingdom to come!  Matthew 4:17 teaches us Micheal preached the good news!

Prayers are very important to us all, it is how we talk to Jehovah, Psalm 65:2 teaches us that Jehovah hears our prayers.  Prayers are so important that Micheals model prayer reveiles part of the good news.  So pray for the good news of Jehovah's kingdom to come.  Next, what is Jehovah's Kingdom?

Taking in Knowledge! Series P4

The meaning of the seeds that we will be talking about are both figurative and offspring, but the word in Hebrew ze´ra` and in Greek sper´ma, both translated “seed,” with the following uses in agricultural and botanical, physiological, and figurative for “offspring.”  The thought of seed in Genesis 3:15 really has significance in Jehovah's Sacred Secret.  It shows that enmity will develop between the two seeds and there will be a deliverer that will destroy Jehovah's enemy Satan the Devil.

Genesis 3:15
NWT of the JW - "15 And I shall put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed. He will bruise you in the head and you will bruise him in the heel."

The seed of the serpent, is relieved in two different scriptures, one from John 8:44, and the second one from 1 John 3:10-12.  In John 8:44 we learn from Jesus Christ that there is a farther of the lie when speaking to the Jews.  The apostle John writes in 1 John 3:10-12 show who follow the pattern of the symbolic farther (Satan) are children, offspring or seeds of the serpent.

The seed of the woman is figurative in that this one would be a spiritual son of Jehovah God, and more who "belong to Christ" are added as part of Abraham's seed.  We basically follow a few scriptures till we arrive at Jesus Christ.  So lets follow since our fore-farther Adam in the book of Genesis 5, I will list in order from Adam to Shem, Genesis 11 will list in order from Shem to Abraham, and Matthew 1:1-16 in order from Abraham to Jesus Christ. I am not going to cut and past but you can look up in NWT of the JW or SearchGodsWord.Org and you will see in long form.

The seed is of great importance in that it gives us hope!  Next is a few thoughts on prayer leads us in to Armageddon and greater hope!

Taking in Knowledge! Series P3

Before I continued I like to talk about this word "knowledge".  In the Hebrew Scriptures ya·dha` a basic verb translates know.  In the Greek Scriptures both gno´sis and e·pi´gno·sis are related the the primary verb gi·no´sko which means know as well.

I took this side step for a very important reason, sometimes the english language can get in the way of our learning of Jehovah, his Word and his Truth.  In John 17:3 the thought of know shows taking in information only, but if we compare 1 Timothy 6:20 we are warned of false knowledge with the word "sience" in the King James Verson with Strongs on the SearchGodsWord.Org web site.  Last if we compare it to 1 Corinthians 8:3 it shows a more personal relationship with God himself.

Some say knowledge is power, I say how we use knowledge is widsom.  Let us build our knowledge of Jehovah God with love, and so may love build between God and us as we take in knowledge.

Taking in Knowledge! Series P2

As you may have guessed their quit a bit of knowledge to take in, but I will attempt to cover the ones we should know.  My next thought is the first prophecy ever told by God himself!  This came after Adam and Eve sinned, when man was still perfect, and living in the Garden of Eden.  We can find this in Genesis 3:14-15, here Jehovah first tells man he has a plan to put everything back the way it was and should be.  Genesis 3:14 shows us how Satan the Devil is cursed and is set apart from from the rest as a reminder to man as the originator of sin.  Genesis 3:15 shows us that Satan the Devil and his followers will be concurred.

How important is taking in knowledge to you and I, well it is very important!  It is so important that God sent his only begotten son to us for in Luke 4:18-21 tells us Micheal (Jesus Christ) himself spoke in his home town fulfilling prophecy in Isaiah 61:1,2.

Well the first prophecy tells us that their is hope because God has a plan, and Micheal, Jehovah only begotten son, was sent to preach, teach and show man that Jehovah's plan is unfolding!  Next more of Jehovah God's plan unfolds, what is Micheal's good news that God sent him for?

Taking in Knowledge! Series P1

So We Are Choosing Life by Taking in Knowledge!  In the post Choosing Life, To Live For, Part 3 we learned that taking in knowledge means choosing everlasting life at John 17:3.  So what is this knowledge that Michael is talking about? that answer is found in Genesis.

In Genesis 3:1-5 of the NWT of the Jehovah Witness we find "1 Now the serpent proved to be the most cautious of all the wild beasts of the field that Jehovah God had made. So it began to say to the woman: “Is it really so that God said YOU must not eat from every tree of the garden?” 2 At this the woman said to the serpent: “Of the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat. 3 But as for [eating] of the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘YOU must not eat from it, no, YOU must not touch it that YOU do not die.’” 4 At this the serpent said to the woman: “YOU positively will not die. 5 For God knows that in the very day of YOUR eating from it YOUR eyes are bound to be opened and YOU are bound to be like God, KNOWING good and bad.” and from SearchGodWord.org "1 Now the serpent was (8804) more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made (8804). For it is written, ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’” 11 Then the Devil left him, and, look! angels came and began to minister to him."  Notice in Matthew 4:9 Satan wanted Michael to do an act of worship to him!

As found in 1 Corinthians 13:4-13 "4 Love is long-suffering and kind. It does not keep account of the injury. 6 It does not rejoice over unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth. 7 It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

What traits are done away with as a babe? remember Jesus himself said child like ones will inherit the earth?  We fall down by others and forgive, but maturity is a part of wisdom in that evil exist not a way of being grown.

And last when is the completion of things?  For today we are in the last days, in when that is Paradise Earth (the state were man was blessed by Jehovah) arrives, then things are complete!

Choosing Life, Imitate, Part 5

I have been waiting for more inspiration again and got it, sorry it took so long for this next post.  You have to admit imitate is not an easy topic, and I want it to be the best for you, so here it goes, Love!  Yes Love, and I found it difficult because it covers all sins, as well as topics to choosing life, it does mean life in a way, Love.  Jesus showed us love in many ways in what we learn of his teaching man and his chosen disciples.

Fist what is love, it is affection!  Well I showed you the four loves, so lets put this a little bit more in perspective, shall we.  The love we are going to imitate is Jesus love, why, it is a love we can read about in the bible.  In John 14:9 we learned who as seen Jesus has also seen our farther (Jehovah God), so this is a perfect love we can learn about.
When being tested by the Pharisees, on versed in the Law asked Jesus what is the greatest commandment? and Jesus answered in Matthew 22:37-39 " (NWT) 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37He said to him: “‘You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.’ 38 This is the greatest and first commandment. 39 The second, like it, is this, ‘You must love your neighbor as yourself.’" and from the KJV from SearchGodsWord.org Matthew 22:34-40 we find "34 But when the Pharisees had heard (5660) that he had put the Sadduceesto silence (5656), they were gathered together * (5681). 35 Then one ofthem, which was a lawyer, asked (5656) him a question, tempting (5723)him, and saying (5723), 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 * Jesus said (5627) unto him, Thou shalt love (5692) the Lordthy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.38 This is (5748) the first and great commandment. 39 And the second islike unto it * (5625), Thou shalt love (5692) thy neighbour as thyself. 40 Onthese two commandments hang (5743) all the law and the prophets."  

If you can't see it I am going to say any way, there is an order of love theme here.  Notice Jesus put God first in love, then to love our neighbors as we do ourselves?  Jesus is saying from his point of view, first he loves Jehovah our God, then himself, then us!  If Jesus perfect imitation of love didn't love himself, how could he have helped us?  Remember he gave his perfect life for our sins!  So what I am saying, love Jehovah our God first, then Jesus Christ second, third ourselves, fourth our family and then our neighbors, for if we don't love in this order how can one help anyone after themselves?  Remember in Matthew 10:37 Jesus teaches his disciples those who have greater affection for farther, mother, or son and daughter is not worthy of Jesus.  So then if we want to be worthy of Jesus yes we must love our Lord and King Jesus Christ second, because out of love Jesus is our greatest teacher.  Last, in Matthew 28:20 his followers are to teach and observe all thing from Jesus Christ, so yes in a way we are choosing life by choosing Love as taught by our Lord and King, Jesus Christ.

In 1 John 4:8 clearly states God is Love, next, 1Co 13:4-7 we also learn about some of the traits of love, from the apostle Paul.  So Love and keep choosing life with love!

Choosing Life, To Strive For, Part 4

So lets learn how to strive for life, we learn this from Jesus Christ. So before I go on I want to talk about his name first. It is important to know how Jehovah God made his name for his children, me and you and how it helps us to choose life.

So now lets look at Jesus Christ and it parts and then his angel name Michael! We first look at Jesus, in the Searchforgodsword.org we learn Jesus means "Jehovah is salvation"! How reassuring that Jehovah will deliver us from death. This is important too because all through Jesus Christ life he imitated his farther, remember in John 14:8-10 Philip ask Jesus to show them the Farther, and Jesus replied that he who saw Him had seen the Farther and he did Jehovah God's will.

I saved the best for last in that Matthew 6:9-10 Jesus Christ teaches to pray the will be done in heaven will be done on earth! What will be done in heaven, will be done on earth?

God's only-begotten son, the Son of Man, Jesus Christ, Michael the Archangel, are all the one same person, all authority can't be given to Jesus Christ if Michael is the Archangel (great prince, foremost prince, Chief of angles), unless he is the one and same person! Jesus Christ name helps us to see what Jehovah God has done for his children, you and I, and in John 14:8-10 Jesus showed us he imitated his farther Jehovah God. We are too since his angel name imitates his farther too, so let learn how to imitate Jesus Christ and be his followers.

Choosing Life, To Live For, Part 3

Choosing life to live, we should first study the bible, get to know God, Jesus Christ, and how we are to conduct ourselves.  Conducting ourselves as a good Christian maybe easy, learning about Jesus Christ maybe easy, learning about God maybe easy but studying the bible may not be, but that is the only way we can do the first three, right?  In studying the Bible you will soon find many things out from Genesis to Revelations, like about conducting our present life, who God is, who Jesus Christ is what they both have done for mankind so that we may choose everlasting life.

Choosing Life, How Do We? Part 2

So in my last post I tried to put a seed there, in Romans I showed the wages of sin pays is death and in Revelations I showed that death will be no more, so the question is life, what kind of life are we choosing?  So as I waited for inspiration, I thought I first take a look at what is life!, this is life cited from an online dictionary (that is so cool!)-
